Camp Kindergarten Monday, August 7th, 1:00-3:00 Camp Kindergarten

"Camp Kindergarten"...what is it and who is it for?  This is for ALL incoming Kindergarten students and their parents/guardians!   Its the place to be to experience meeting their teacher, meet ingclassmates, going through the lunch line for a snack, taking a small bus ride through East Side Park, (learning to safely load and unload), learning to travel through the building "on the red line"....and learning about the school while it's not crowded with the big kids going every which way!

2016-17 Transportation Weather Plan weather plan

The district's "Weather Plan" may be put into effect when the majority of the county roads are open and a few of the more isolated roads are still deemed unsafe for bus travel. NES First Annual Turkey Trot Fourth Grade Boys Top Ten

On Wednesday, November 16th the fourth and fifth grade boys and girls competed in a mile long run around the school. Winners were treated with gift cards for their family turkey for Thanksgiving donated by PTO. Congrats to our first place winners: Macie Peoples, Cameron Mandel, Cailyn Harper, and Alex Beyst.

Pendleton County Schools Maintains Proficient Ranking Proficient District

In a video statement to staff on October 1, 2015, Superintendent Strong said, “During the past four years we have been focusing on what is needed to move our students forward.  Today I am happy to share that your hard work and dedication has paid off.  We are a Proficient District.”  On September 29, 2016, Superintendent Strong congratulated the district for its designation as a Proficient District for the second consecutive year.

Transportation Department Announces 2016-17 Bus Routes

The Transportation Department is working diligently to organize bus routes so that students' travel times are held to a minimal.   Click here to view  2016-17 Bus Route (by road).  All revisions from the original posting will be highlighted in yellow to help you.  Parents are urged to check back occasionally for any changes or updates.  For bus routes and additional transportation information, click the Transportation tab under Student Services.
