Building on a Legacy of Leadership
The Pendleton Board of Education was established in 1959. Early members established a legacy of commitment to educational leadership, community responsibility, and child advocacy. Today, members of the Pendleton County Board of Education are committed to maintaining and building on that legacy as PCS grows to meet new needs throughout our communities.
The Pendleton County Board of Education meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Pendleton High School Auditorium and on the fifth Thursday of those months. The Fifth-Thursday meetings are held at the other schools in the district, with each school in the district making a presentation to the board during the course of the school year. People wishing to address the board at board meetings may sign up to speak at the podium upon arrival to the meeting. For more information about the meetings, contact the Central Office at 859-654-6911.
See the Board Meeting Dates/Locations/Deadline document to the right for information on dates and location of regular meetings, as well as current board agendas & minutes. Agendas are posted prior to each board meeting and board meeting minutes are posted following board approval.
