Pendleton High School Library is a popular place! Every day, we check out books to students who want to read the latest, greatest titles. We are working to get more books that students love all the time. We hope we can continue to add to our book collection over the coming years so that it can be even more popular and serve our students even better than we do now.

Each year, we promote the Kentucky Bluegrass books. (See the list under the "Kentucky Bluegrass Awards.") In 2014-2015, we hope to begin The Battle of the Books, a competition that will be based on the Kentucky Bluegrass list. Details for that will be found on the Battle of the Books link.

Students may come to the library to work in from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM without special arrangements.  Please contact Mrs. Reid at 859-654-3355, extension 7206, if you need to come in earlier or stay later because she serves two schools and cannot always be accessed during the day to arrange last-minute stays.

Stay tuned for other information because we are trying to add more activities and programs all the time. We welcome any suggestions for books, for programs, and for other events that will serve our students and our community.

Library policies are put in place to ensure no discrimination hinders the rights of others to access information that will be useful to them. While we respect the rights of all of our students and staff, we also know that budgetary limits and community standards will limit the availability of items. The policy is in place help ensure all tastes, beliefs, and ideas are represented to the best of our abilities, and that no one can limit those based upon standards of overt censorship.
