"Daytona Beach" by Reese Barlow
The pictures that I used for this project were from our family vacation at Daytona Beach at night. I used a Nikon D5200 on a tripod. The camera was set on manual and the remote was set for the shutter. I had to use the remote because the picture was taken at night and the shutter speed was set to stay open longer to get as much light as possible. I took two pictures one with my parents holding hands and another with them kissing. I uploaded the pictures to Photoshop Elements 12 and adjusted the exposer, contrast, highlights and saturation for the two pictures taken. Next I used the quick tool selection and selected the image of my parents holding hands, making fine tune adjustments on the selection. Then I clicked and drug that image to the picture with them kissing. I made adjustments to the size and placed it in the picture like I wanted. Lastly, I cropped the new picture to remove the blurred images of people walking on the right side of the picture.
