My process first began on Smule Magic Piano while making a rough draft. It was pretty simple. It's an app mostly for playing songs on a piano, but there's a menu where you can compose your own songs. That's where I went. I built it up as I went along, trying new chords.
Once I finished the rough draft, I started to use Noteflight. That was a bit more difficult. It didn't turn out exactly like the rough draft, but I think it turned out better. It didn't save one of the times, so I had to do a lot of things over. I completed my composition, though, and I think it sounds nice. I wanted it to sound like a thunderstorm, with the drums and the low notes on the bass cleff. It has a pleasant mix of harmony with the piano, clarinet, trombone, and drums. The rhythm of the low piano stays repetitive throughout the song, while the others vary more. I hope you like it.
