I first attended Maysville Community College where I received an Associate in Arts. Then I transferred to and graduated from Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading Education from Northern Kentucky University. Several years ago, I earned National Board Teacher Certification for Elementary Reading/Language Arts. This is my sevententh year at Southern Elementary in second grade.
I have greatly enjoyed becoming a part of the Pendleton County community. You live in a beautiful area and the people here are wonderful.
I live in Harrison County with my mom and daughter, Jacqueline Brumley. We have one cat, Puddy Cat and two ferrets, Lewis and Clark. My family enjoys spending our summers taking camping trips. My mother is one of the most important people in my life. I can always count on her. I have three sisters, one brother, three nieces and two nephews.
I am a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Harrison County.
I became a teacher because I love to work with children: watching and helping them grow!!!
