Big6 is a research tool that students can use to help guide any research they do, whether it be formal or informal. Using the step-by-step approach of Big6 helps students systematically question, research, and synthesize; in other words, it helps them cut the research elephant into bite-sized pieces.
Proper citation of sources is an important skill. Plagiarism is stealing. Citation of sources is the ethical, honest approach to using others' work. These sources will help you cite sources appropriately. Be sure to know what citation style your teacher requires before starting! For more help, see me, Mrs. Reid, in the library.
