Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at Northern Elementary!!
This is my ninth year teaching at Northern Elementary, and my fourth year teaching kindergarten. I also taught special education students from kindergarten through 5th grade in my first 5 years at NES.
All about me:
I earned my Bachelor's degree from NKU in both Elementary Education K-5 and Special Education, Learning and Behavioral Disorders. I earned my Master's degree from Georgetown College in Special Education, Moderate and Severe Disabilities. I am currently in my 2nd year of earning my National Board certification.
I live in northern Pendleton County with my husband Eric and my three children; Brendan who is 17 and in the 12th grade at PCHS, Ty who is 134and in the 9th grade at PCHS, and Jaelynn who is 11 and in the 6th grade at Sharp. We also have two dogs and two cats! I love to be outside working in my yard and reading on my porch swing. In my spare time I read, read, read! I also love watching my kids play sports (lots of soccer), and taking hikes with my husband.
As you can see, I'm a mom, wife and a working parent- like most of you! So, I understand the ups and downs of daily living and crazy schedules! Please feel free to email me, call me, or write me a quick note if you ever have any questions or problems.
