About This Class

Now is the time for students to make mistakes and learn from them.  Mistakes are a good thing, so long as they aren't repeated.  We learn best from our mistakes and we learn the most from them.  It is better for students to make their mistakes now, than in an interview.

Business and Technology focuses on two aspects.

The business aspect focuses on basic skills that are used in nearly all businesses.  Students must demonstrate the ability to use the keyboard efficiently, customer service skills, the importance of being on time and even how to properly shake hands.  Students will also learn how to create a proper resume, cover letter, letter of introduction and may even take part in mock interviews.

The technology side is explored more once the basics of business are understood.  Students should know how to use OneDrive, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Edit photos/video/audio as the basics of the course.  Once everything is understood, there may be programming, database creation and 3D modeling.

My name is Mr. Brunner, welcome to my website!

I am a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, I specialize in Science and Mathematics.  I have a degree in computer and simulation programming from the University of Cincinnati.  I love anything Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics related!  STEM for short, is very important to me.  In my spare time I made a hover craft and VanDeGraaf generator for fun if that gives you an idea of how much I enjoy STEM activities.

In the summer of 2016 I was accepted into the University of Cincinnati's Research Experience for Teachers or RET for short.  I spent the entire summer researching artificial intelligence and how to optimize the program.  This specific Artificial Intelligence has been used in simulations and is the only AI to ever beat a Airforce pilot in simulated combat, more here:

I have experience with 3D printing and love to create things and teach students how to use a 3D printer.  For the past three years, I have used a 3D printer in my instruction.
