Hello! My name is Jenna Kelsch O'Hara and I am one of the Math Special Education Teachers at Sharp Middle School. This is my 9th year teaching, and my 4rd year at Sharp. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work in the same building I attended middle school and where my mom, Phyllis Kelsch was the Assistant Principal for many years.
I grew up in Pendleton County and feel very fortunate to be teaching and working with the students in a place near and dear to my heart. After graduating from Pendleton County High School, I attended Thomas More College where I played basketball, fast-pitch softball, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In 2008, I began my teaching career at Northern Elementary as a Special Education Teacher. I went on to receive my Master's Degree at Georgetown College in Learning and Behavior Disorders (P-12). In the future, I look forward to continuing my education in hopes to receive my Rank 1.
I am married to Mason O'Hara and we have two children, Kamden (8) and Bella (6). When I am not teaching or working at school, I love to play sports, go fishing, swimming, shopping, and most of all, I love spending time with my family.
This is going to be a wonderful year and I'm looking forward to all the new students I will be working with. It will be a year focused on "Becoming United to Pursue Excellence!"
