Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Northern Elementary!!
This is my 12th year teaching at Northern Elementary! I have taught kindergarten, 2nd grade and special education students during my years at NES. This year I will be making yet another change, and will be the NES Reading Recovery and Read to Achieve teacher!
All about me:
I earned my Bachelor's degree from NKU in both Elementary Education K-5 and Special Education, Learning and Behavioral Disorders. I earned my Master's degree from Georgetown College in Special Education, Moderate and Severe Disabilities. I just recently earned my National Board Certification in Early Childhood Generalist.
I live in northern Pendleton County with my husband Eric and my three children; Brendan who is 20 and a college student, Ty who is 17 and in the 12th grade at PCHS, and Jaelynn who is 14 and in the 9th grade at PCHS. We also have three dogs! I love to be outside working in my yard and reading on my porch swing. In my spare time I read, read, read! I also love watching my kids play sports (lots of soccer), and taking hikes with my husband.
As you can see, I'm a mom, wife and a working parent- like most of you! So, I understand the ups and downs of daily living and crazy schedules! Please feel free to email me, call me, or write me a quick note if you ever have any questions or problems.
