Southern Elementary is proud to announce the second year of the 21st Century Community Learning Center in our school in 2016/17 school year!

What is 21st Century Community Learning Center? (CCLC)

Federally funded program providing FREE academic, artistic, and cultural enrichment opportunities at Sharp Middle School during after school hours.  Transportation, snack and a meal are also provided.

Program Hours- Monday-Thursday  3:00pm-6:00pm


  • Increase reading and math scores
  • Decrease at risk behaviors and attendance during school hours
  • Increase parent and community engagement
  • Promote college and career readiness
  • Provide a fun, secure after-school program for students

What we offer-

-Tutoring and homework help from certified teachers and staff
