Pendleton County Food Service and Nutrition Department would like to make everyone aware of updates occurring with our meal service when Pendleton County Schools returns to hybrid instruction on Monday, October 19th, 2020.
Meals will be available for all children 18 years of age and younger at each school from 10:30-12:00 PM each day that school is in session.
Students who are attending school in-person on the hybrid schedule will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch at school as they would normally.
Students learning at home through PC Cares, not enrolled in Pendleton County, or learning virtually on non-attendance days may pick up meals each day at all schools from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM.
In addition, children may pick up weekly meals on Wednesday’s from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at all schools. These meals will consist of five days of meals for children learning on PC Cares full time or not enrolled in Pendleton County Schools. They will consist of three days of meals for students learning in person on the hybrid model. We ask that those wishing to pick up weekly meals call (859) 654-3325 ext. 2650 or 2651 to pre-order these meals.

Pendleton County School District is seeking ideas on School Nutrition and Wellness feedback on the School Nutrition and Wellness policy. This report is provided in compliance with KRS 158.856 as an overview of the nutrition and physical activity available in the Pendleton County School system with the recommendation for areas of improvement. The Board will review any recommendations offered by the general public in developing a plan to be implemented in the 2019-20 school year. Please review the Report under the wellness tab and provide any comments or recommendations to the Pendleton County Schools Food Service Director, Lisa Mitchell at firstname.lastname@example.org
